“Take charge” incumbent is responsible
for ongoing management and maintenance of PFERD’s pricing
and rebate programs including price analysis; analyzing and processing
quotations and rebates; updating SAP. Sales analyst will also assist
in developing and maintaining a framework by which to benchmark
PFERD’s pricing versus competitors.
Responsibilities:
Analyzing new/renewed requests for quotation and providing suggested
price increases to sales reps
Notifying sales reps of expiring quotes in timely manner
Approving quotation requests based on published quote guidelines
Communicating approved quotations to sales reps and distributors
Updating quoted prices in SAP
Maximizing profitability through pricing while maintaining PFERD’s
competitive position in the market
Gathering, documenting, and tracking competitive pricing
Conducting competitor price analysis to support marketing manager
Maintaining price book and SAP pricing
Managing and reporting on rebate programs based on program guidelines
Assisting in setting pricing and discounts for all new products
Reviewing/analyzing daily variance report; proposing corrective
actions
Reporting weekly/monthly key pricing metrics
Qualifications:
An advanced degree in management science, mathematics, economics,
or finance with three plus years demonstrated experience in a similar
position is preferred. Must be a team player with ability to take
a consultative approach with sales reps and management; ability
to make strategic pricing recommendations; excellent communicator
with proven ability to influence others. Should posses advanced
knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel and Access;
SAP experience a plus.
