PFERD Grinding & Cut-off Wheels offer world-leading performance. For free-hand, portable, chop and stationary saws. Wide selection of Flat (Type 1) Cut-Off Wheels for cut-off use on angle grinders, die grinders, circular saws and more. PFERD thin wheels cut faster than conventional wheels, leaving a cleaner cut, with minimal burr. Ideally suited for thin gauge sheet stock, thin walled tubing and small diameter cross sections. Material should always be cut at a right angle to the work piece. Larger work pieces require thicker PFERD cut-off wheels for improved lateral stability. PFERD Thin Type 1 wheels are fully reinforced, and conform to U.S. safety standards as well as more stringent European safety standards. High performance cut-off wheels for stainless and carbon steel, cast iron, and non-ferrous metals. Reduced vibration, minimal residual burr.
