PFERD Grinding & Cut-off Wheels offer world-leading performance. For free-hand, portable, chop and stationary saws.

Slightly flexible grinding wheels with a textured surface for use on flat, concave and convex work pieces. Commonly used in construction of process equipment and tanks, in sheet metal fabrication and automotive bodywork, on castings made of iron, steel and non-ferrous metals, and on thermoplastics.

For medium to light duty grinding and finishing applications on stainless steel, aluminum and other metals. Smoother grinding action and better finish than coated products. TXF for stainless and highest disc flexibility; TX for aluminum and more rigid disc performance.

PFERD Textile products are cotton-fiber based abrasive tools developed for use for medium to light grinding, weld blending, deburring and surface finishing of stainless and aluminum. Textile wheels can grind and finish in one operation.
Flat (Type 1) POLI-ELASTIC Textile discs offer the flexibility of a coated fiber disc, and the long service life of a bonded Type 27 wheel. Waffle pattern on wheel face provides cool blending and finishing performance. These TX bond Type 1 wheels are designed for use on aluminum and soft, greasy materials susceptible to loading problems. 7” discs must be run with a backing pad. Recommended 4-1/2” fiber disc backing pad with 5/8-11 thread for 7” and 9” grinders.
