Concave saucer-shape Type 28 depressed center grinding wheels provide greater contact area to the work piece. Because they require only a shallow work angle (15% or less), Type 28 grinding wheels are ideal for comfortable grinding on flat, broad surfaces, and into corners. Special wheel for heavy-duty use on masonry, concrete, stone, gray cast iron, and nodular cast iron. Also suitable for use on tough and hard aluminum.
