PFERD Grinding & Cut-off Wheels offer world-leading performance. For free-hand, portable, chop and stationary saws.

POLIFAN^® Flap Discs combine the 2-step process of rough grinding with a hard wheel and finishing with a fiber disc. One-step POLIFAN^® Flap discs are aggressive, and capable of extremely high removal rates. They grind quietly and comfortably for enhanced user comfort. They leave a superior surface finish, and can save you time and money.

POLIVLIES^® Non-Woven Flap Discs excel on fine grinding and surface finishing of stainless steel components. They can be used to clean welds, remove heat discoloration and lightly dress stainless steel assemblies. They are especially effective in post-assembly finishing work in process equipment and tank fabrication.
Available in 4-1/2” and 5” diameters, 7/8” arbor hole, or equipped with a 5/8-11 quick change hub. Choose from 3 material grades:

Coarse (tan)
Medium (maroon)
Fine (blue)

On variable-speed angle grinders, POLIVLIES^® flap discs produce the best results at the recommended peripheral speed of 30 - 35 m/s.
