Usage Tip:
- .040 thickness recommended for sheet stock and tube19 gauge and higher
- .045 thickness recommended for 14-18 gauge material
- For larger cross sections, please use 3/32 and larger cut-off wheels for performance and safety.
.045" High Performance A-SG for Steel .045 Depressed Center Cut-Off Wheel for Steel and Ferrous Metals!
These high performance .045 wheels cut very fast because they are very thin, and remove less material in the cutting process. Manufactured with full reinforcement and premium grade materials, these wheels provide a long service live in addition to the fast cut.
When used properly, PFERD cut-off wheels will exceed your expectations:- Never grind with a cut-off wheel. Cut-off wheels are not designed for grinding.
- Cut at a 90 degree angle to the work piece.
- Never mount a cut-off wheel or grinding wheel on a pistol grip sander.
